About Moto Nzuri

Moto Nzuri distributes bioethanol cooking fuel through automated refill ATMs hosted in neighbourhood shops. Customers bring a reusable branded canister, pay by M-Pesa and dispense as much fuel as they can afford that day, at KES 130 per litre or KES 260 for two litres. The company also sells a liquid-fuel cooker kit, fuel gel, methylated spirit and a range of household and hygiene products including hand sanitiser, detergent and reusable sanitary pads.

Its flagship ATM is on Gataka Road in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County, and it serves customers in Kayole, Umoja and Stimvak as well. Operating hours run 07:30 to 21:00 every day. Rather than funding new ATMs itself, Moto Nzuri plans to grow through partner and franchise programmes and bulk deliveries.

The company drew attention in July 2026 when Techweez described it as picking up the bioethanol ATM model left vacant by the collapse of KOKO Networks. Its ownership, founders and carbon-finance arrangements are undisclosed, and analysts have flagged reliance on imported ethanol and volatile carbon prices as issues it will need to address as it expands.
