About Shop2Shop

Shop2Shop is a Cape Town-based merchant-focused trade enablement and fintech platform that provides acquiring, payments, cash management, value-added services, money transfers and business advances to small businesses, informal traders (including spaza shops) and their suppliers through mobile applications and payment devices. The company says it placed its first safe in Khayelitsha in 2018 and reports more than 210,000 users (as at January 2026). In July 2026 Pepkor Holdings announced a proposed transaction combining its Flash subsidiary with Shop2Shop to form a combined business provisionally called FintechCo, in which Pepkor would hold about 57.1%, subject to regulatory and competition approvals.
