LightDey tracks electricity supply in Lagos through anonymous check-ins. Residents tap "Light dey" or "E no dey" to report whether grid power is on in their area, and the app shows recent reports on a live map. Users can also keep a private outage diary and build weekly community records of supply for their electricity band, with no login required.
The service is based in Lagos and runs as a web app that can be added to a phone's home screen. Its site was showing a demo mode when collected.
