About TerraSentinel

TerraSentinel is a monitoring system in development for mine-site water safety. It correlates subsurface ground-truth data, tailings dam instrumentation and downstream water signals in one place, with satellite and drone data extending the ground measurements.

The project is at prototype stage: a field data-entry tool and a live pilot dashboard run today, while site data is still entered by hand and the satellite and drone automation are being built. Its focus areas include the Zambian Copperbelt, Lualaba in the DRC and the Kalahari Copper Belt. It was founded in South Africa in 2026.
