About SakaTaka

SakaTaka is digital infrastructure for a more circular economy in Kenya. Waste operators use the platform to schedule collections, bill customers through M-Pesa and manage field agents with an Android app, while households, estates and recyclers connect through it to keep materials out of landfill.

The Nairobi company also runs a recycling marketplace for trading recyclable materials, supports bulk customer imports and tracks verified material recovery, which supports extended producer responsibility compliance. SakaTaka serves waste collectors, recyclers, producers and residential customers across the waste value chain.
