About Radava

Radava is a Nairobi-based agricultural trade company that facilitates the electronic trade of agricultural commodities. Farmers deposit their harvest in certified warehouses, receive instant warehouse receipts and use them to access credit to fund the next season.

The platform serves three groups: farmers who want secure storage and liquidity, offtakers who buy graded grain directly from source with guaranteed delivery and transparent pricing, and investors seeking asset-backed exposure to the agricultural value chain. Radava says it aims to connect smallholder farmers in Sub-Saharan Africa to global commodity markets and open up finance for them. It runs farmer training activities, including in Eldoret, Kenya.
