About MyExpense

MyExpense is a mobile app for South African freelancers and sole proprietors. It tracks, scans and categorises business expenses against the SARS ITR12 tax return, logs mileage and estimates tax savings, so that users claim every deduction they are entitled to. Receipts are scanned and auto-filled in seconds, and the ITR12 can be exported straight from the phone.

The app is available on the App Store and Google Play, is free to start and costs R99 a month on its paid plan. MyExpense is based in Cape Town and is run by a single-person team.
