About Motopay

Motopay runs a store for active Uber drivers in South Africa. Drivers verify their Uber account over WhatsApp, then buy fuel, smartphones, safety gear, accessories and maintenance, paying through the Uber account they already have instead of a bank card. Its best-selling product is a reusable fuel card with an instant R500 fuel advance, accepted at more than 4,500 stations.

Smartphones are offered on weekly payments, and the company says fuel cards are delivered within two days. Motopay is based in Centurion and lists a team of 2 to 10 people on LinkedIn, which describes it as recurring payments for motorcycle rental fleets on delivery apps.
