About Locapay

Locapay is a Beninese proptech platform that brings property search, rental management and rent payment into one web and mobile service. Tenants can search listings, set alerts, book visits, apply and pay rent through mobile money. Landlords and property managers publish properties, track payments, manage contracts and oversee their portfolios, with digital contracts, tenant scoring, split payments and automatic reminders.

Locapay was founded in 2024 by Guérin Agossadou and Julian Adjibi. In 2026 it joined the second cohort of the MTN Benin Innovation Lab, which gives startups access to MoMo APIs, USSD services and data tools.
