BatiBid

BatiBid is a Beninese property platform that describes itself as a new-generation real estate agency. Through its web app it lists rental properties, places tenants, and manages rentals for owners with digital leases and automated rent collection, charging 8 percent of rent on its Standard plan and 10 percent on Premium. A construction and renovation service handles design, permits, site supervision and handover for clients, including Beninese abroad who want to build at home without being on site.

Customers are property owners, tenants and diaspora investors in Benin. The company reports more than 500 properties under management, 350 owners, 1,500 tenants and XOF 85 million in rent collected, figures that are self-reported on its website. It also publishes a BatiBid mobile app on the App Store.

In July 2026 BatiBid was one of five startups selected for the second cohort of MTN Benin's Innovation Lab, a six-to-eight-month programme giving access to MTN MoMo payment APIs, USSD services and data tools rather than cash funding. The selection followed a national roadshow and a 15-project pre-incubation phase, and was announced at MTN's Open Day in Cotonou.
