About Ibanga

Ibanga is a Rwandan youth venture that gives adolescents and young people confidential access to reproductive-health information and products, addressing the stigma that keeps many from seeking them. Co-founded by Theophile Tuyishime, the team is developing a prototype information box for rural areas and schools where phone and internet access is limited. In September 2026 Ibanga was one of six winners of Imbuto Foundation's iAccelerator Phase 7, receiving Rwf 10 million in seed funding and six months of training and mentorship.
