Virgua is a Nigerian personal safety app. Users choose trusted contacts, share live location, complete timed check-ins and can send SOS alerts to those contacts. In September 2026 coverage, the founder said the app was in beta with about 50 testers ahead of a public launch targeted for Q4 2026, and that the company was self-funded.
