Ukumbi

Ukumbi is a Dar es Salaam-based marketplace for event venues and services in Tanzania. Users can compare halls, gardens, conference rooms and beach venues by capacity, price and location, then add caterers, decorators, photographers and other suppliers needed for their event.

Vendors can register to list venues or services across categories such as catering, drinks, cakes, lighting and sound, transport, planning, beauty, entertainment, equipment rental, florists and MCs. The platform supports user accounts, wishlists and a separate vendor mode, so the same site serves both people planning events and the businesses that supply them.
