About Shopy

Shopy is an e-commerce platform for small businesses. Merchants record what they bought from their supplier, and Shopy builds the product catalogue from that purchase order, with cost, quantity and a suggested selling price filled in, then publishes a live storefront priced in Tanzanian shillings on the merchant's own address.

The store takes orders on WhatsApp and the web and tracks them through to delivery. The company says it aims to give small businesses the kind of online store larger companies pay a premium for. Shops can start free. LinkedIn lists the company in Nairobi with two to ten people.
