About Sesi Technologies

Sesi Technologies is a Kumasi, Ghana-based agritech company that designs, develops and manufactures technology to help African farmers and agribusinesses reduce post-harvest losses, improve soil health and increase productivity. Its products include the GrainMate Grain Moisture Meter, the GrainMate Warehouse Monitor for warehouse temperature and humidity monitoring, ZeroFly hermetic storage bags, and FarmSense, a soil intelligence platform combining a handheld soil sensor with an AI-powered mobile app. For smallholder grain farmers it also provides post-harvest technologies, mechanization services and market access, and it runs a digital marketplace connecting aggregators and grain traders with suppliers. The company was founded in March 2018 by Isaac Sesi, who began the work as a research engineer at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). The company reports having reached more than 50,000 farmers and 1,000 agribusinesses.
