Reliance Health provides health insurance plans to individuals, families and employers, combining HMO coverage with a technology platform that simplifies claims and gives members instant access to care through telemedicine in its app. In Nigeria it operates as Reliance HMO, with a network of more than 2,600 health providers and reimbursement within five working days. The company reports that over 4,000 businesses and 251,000 people rely on it, with operations in Nigeria, Egypt and Senegal.

Headquartered in Lagos, Reliance Health says it has worked since 2016 to make quality healthcare affordable and accessible in emerging markets, and employs between 501 and 1,000 people. It won Seedstars World Lagos in 2016 and counts LoftyInc Capital, P1 Ventures and Ventures Platform among its investors.
