About Orateur

Orateur is a free text-to-speech tool that reads web pages aloud. A small button appears on every page in Firefox or Chrome; pressing play strips out menus, ads and sidebars and reads the remaining article where the user already is.

A companion web app can read any text or link and resumes exactly where the listener stopped. Orateur runs locally in the browser, with no upload and no account required. It is linked to Cameroon in the source data and hosted under the digitalekim.net domain. No pricing or team information is published.
