OneThread Africa is a Johannesburg-based fashion-tech platform that helps African fashion brands measure, document and verify their sustainability practices. It argues that African brands do not have a sustainability problem but an infrastructure problem, as regulators, buyers, investors and consumers increasingly ask for proof of transparency and traceability.

Brands can get a free Sustainability Quotient score, and the platform is open to all African brands. OneThread also spotlights sustainable African labels and builds a community around culture, design and technology in fashion.
