About OKOA Energy

OKOA Energy builds and operates battery-swapping networks for commercial electric two- and three-wheelers, using one battery standard that works across more than 10 motorcycle OEM platforms. Its software, which came from its 2024 merger with Kenyan battery-management startup Stima, has managed over 200,000 swaps across 50+ stations in four markets. It places swap points in fuel stations, shops and car washes under a franchise model and is launching in Tanzania, Cameroon and Zambia.
