About Nimsy Agro Solar Concept
Nimsy Agro Solar Concept is a Nigerian agritech and clean-energy company that builds solar-powered agricultural equipment, including portable solar irrigation pumps, threshers, mills and dryers, as fuel-free alternatives to diesel and petrol farm equipment for smallholder farmers. The company says it has reached more than 12,000 smallholder farmers across nine Nigerian states. In 2025 it won the inaugural Africa Energy Entrepreneurship Award run by Octopus Energy and the Sustainable Markets Initiative Africa Council, and used the grant to pilot a solar irrigation reservoir in Giwa LGA, Kaduna State.
