About Malaica

Malaica is a Nairobi-based maternal health company that supports women from preconception through antenatal care, delivery and postnatal and well-baby care, combining digital programmes and coaching with in-person checkups, a partnership with The Nairobi Hospital and its own Malaica Hospital. Co-founded by Dr Lorraine Muluka and Pascal Koenig, it raised a $1M pre-seed in July 2024 led by Markus Gemuend with Kapor Capital.
