About LockAm

LockAm is a checkout tool for merchants in Nigeria who sell through social media and direct messages. With its Lock & Pay feature, a merchant sends a LockAm link, the customer pays a deposit to reserve an item, and the balance is paid over time before delivery. There are no loans and no credit checks.

The product targets the revenue merchants lose when interested buyers stop replying. Its website includes a free loss calculator that estimates how much ghosted enquiries cost a business, and merchants can book a demo. LockAm is based in Lagos, and LinkedIn lists a team of 2–10 people.
