About Kumulus
Kumulus builds machines that make drinking water from air. Each unit is about the size of a mini-fridge, runs on solar energy and atmospheric humidity alone, and produces around 30 litres of water a day. The company targets off-grid locations, construction sites, offices and public spaces, and pitches the product to organisations that currently rely on bottled water for teams of ten or more.
Kumulus is based in Kairouan and sells primarily to businesses and public-sector bodies. It was founded in 2021 by Iheb Triki, Mohamed Ali Abid and Nouha Abroug and holds Tunisia's Startup Act label (2022).
