About Kamioun
Kamioun is a mobile-first B2B e-commerce platform that supplies small retailers in Tunisia. Corner-shop owners order stock for their stores through the app, which lists more than 1,600 fast-moving consumer goods, and receive delivery within 24 hours on a date they choose. The company keeps prices stable rather than letting them fluctuate as distributor pricing does, which helps shopkeepers plan their working capital. The app is available on the Apple App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery.
Kamioun was founded in 2020 by Oualid Ben Said and is based in Tunis. It holds Tunisia's Startup Act label (January 2020), is a portfolio company of Launch Africa Ventures, and placed third in the International Grand Prix of the 12th Orange Social Venture Prize.
