About FrontEdge

FrontEdge is a Lagos-based fintech that provides African SME exporters and importers with working capital, cross-border payments and FX, multi-currency offshore accounts, cargo insurance, logistics management and shipment document tools. It was founded in 2021 by Moni Alli. In November 2023 it announced a US$10 million round of debt and equity led by TLG Capital, with Flexport among the investors; press reports say debt made up more than 70% of the round. The company says its payment and FX product is licensed with PSSP and FCA-regulated partners in the UK and Nigeria.
