About FreeTrader

FreeTrader Agri-Produce Exchange is a Harare-based agricultural marketplace that connects Zimbabwe's farmers with buyers, warehouses and transporters. Farmers take produce to a collection hub, where it is weighed and graded on the spot and becomes a warehouse receipt in their name.

That receipt can be sold to buyers or used as collateral to borrow against, and farmers are paid net of fees. Farmers register with a phone number, and a distribution map shows where to deliver. Buyers use the platform to find fresh produce directly from verified farmers.
