About AgTech

AgTech is an agricultural platform in Harare, Zimbabwe, developed by ePort. Each farmer receives an AgTech number that links registration, farm mapping and livestock records to every other part of the platform, from production planning and agronomy to contract farming and input finance.

The platform also covers a marketplace, warehouse receipts, transport, payments and deductions, credit and traceability reporting, serving farmers, buyers, agribusinesses and financial partners. USSD access lets farmers without smartphones take part. AgTech organises its features around six stages: register, grow, finance, trade, pay and oversee.
