About Farmily

Farmily is a Lagos-based company whose trading arm, Farmily Trading, sources, verifies and exports African agricultural commodities including cocoa, coffee, sesame, cashew, cotton, soybean and palm produce, as well as minerals. It sells to buyers in Europe, Asia and the Gulf and works with producer networks across West Africa.

The company's pitch is traceability: shipments are delivered compliant with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and tracked end to end through its TRACE system. Farmily argues that smallholder farmers capture only a small share of final value because of long chains of intermediaries and weak traceability, and it positions its model as a shorter, verifiable supply chain.
