About Duka
Duka is a Nairobi-based e-commerce platform that lets Kenyan sellers open an online shop in minutes. Sellers design their store with AI tools and a homepage builder, use their own domain, and manage products with variants, specifications and AI-written descriptions. Customers pay through M-Pesa STK push without having to create an account.
The platform also handles delivery through riders, pickup points and couriers, and brings WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and SMS messages into one inbox with an AI assistant that answers customers. Sellers get promotions, loyalty tools, a wallet with M-Pesa withdrawals, a point-of-sale mode, analytics and team roles. Duka says every feature is currently free, with no monthly fee or commission.
