About Clargreen

Clargreen is a Nigerian climate and agriculture company that converts agricultural waste into biochar-based organic fertiliser. Applied to farmland, the biochar improves soil health and water retention and locks carbon in the ground. The company works with farmers who have at least an acre of land, helping them grow more food and open a carbon-credit income stream from the carbon their soil stores.

Clargreen Technologies is based in Owerri, in south-east Nigeria. It completed the Founder Institute Lagos programme in 2025 and has a venture profile on VC4A.
