OperatingMaternal health data infrastructure helping hospitals, insurers and employers detect pregnancy risk early.
About Babysteps
Babysteps builds data infrastructure for maternal health in Kenya. Its tools help hospitals triage and refer expectant mothers, give insurers risk and claims tools, and give employers analytics on maternal health outcomes, with the shared goal of detecting risk early and closing gaps in care. Its tools are designed to link data held by hospitals, insurers and employers, so that each can see risk sooner and act before complications become costly.
Babysteps is backed by Impact Hub Nairobi and was a finalist in the femtech category of the Africa Tech Summit Awards 2025.
