About Ashiri

Ashiri is a Lagos-based fintech platform operated by Ashiri Technologies. It digitises the daily thrift collections that market traders already make through local coordinators, letting traders save daily, build a financial history and credit score, access loans and shop on instalment.

The platform has separate experiences for contributors, thrift coordinators and partners, so coordinators can manage savings groups digitally. Ashiri highlights NDPR compliance, PCI DSS Level 4 certification and end-to-end encryption. It currently runs a waitlist alongside onboarding and targets informal traders across Nigeria who are often left out of formal credit.
