AreaFoods

AreaFoods is a technology-driven food commerce platform connecting consumers, restaurants, and delivery partners through an integrated digital ecosystem. Starting in Lokoja, Kogi State, Nigeria, AreaFoods is building a more convenient way for people to discover restaurants, order meals, and receive deliveries, while helping food businesses expand their reach and manage orders more efficiently.

Beyond conventional food delivery, AreaFoods differentiates itself through AI-powered food discovery, personalized recommendations, voice search, scheduled orders, subscriptions, food videos, and real-time delivery tracking. Its dedicated customer, vendor, and rider applications create a connected ecosystem designed to streamline ordering, improve customer engagement, and simplify delivery operations.

AreaFoods operates on a transaction-based marketplace model, connecting local food demand with restaurant supply and delivery services. Its technology and business model provide a foundation for expanding into additional food and local commerce categories as the platform grows.

With Lokoja as its starting market, AreaFoods aims to establish a scalable presence across Nigerian cities before expanding into other African markets. Its long-term vision is to use technology to strengthen local food businesses, improve access to convenient food services, and build a sustainable food commerce platform for emerging markets.
