About Alera
Alera is a Nigerian AI-native clinical platform for private clinics. Beyond digitising paper records, it gives every doctor an AI clinical assistant that suggests differential diagnoses and fills a full SOAP note in under 20 seconds, while managing patient queues from triage to doctor to pharmacy.
Alera also connects patient history across the clinics a patient has visited, addressing the problem of doctors not knowing a patient's medications, allergies or earlier diagnoses. The product is in private beta in Lagos, built by a team with more than five years of EMR experience in Nigeria and the US. LinkedIn lists 2026 as its founding year.
