About AidaPay

AidaPay is a Nigerian payments app for buying data bundles and airtime on MTN, Airtel, Glo and T2, prepaid and postpaid electricity tokens, DStv, GOtv and StarTimes subscriptions, and WAEC, NECO and JAMB exam PINs, with cashback paid into the user's wallet on purchases. Its ScanPay feature sends money to any Nigerian bank account by scanning the account number from a receipt, screen or paper. Businesses and families can use bulk data and bulk airtime to top up up to 500 numbers in one payment, and SmartShare (launched October 2026) lets businesses, brands and churches gift airtime or data through a shareable link and 6-character code, paying only when recipients claim. Agents resell at agent prices, and developers can integrate data, airtime, electricity and cable TV purchases through the AidaPay VTU API. AidaPay is operated by Veqi LTD (CAC RC1974322), says it launched in July 2020, and reports more than 415,000 sign-ups. Its head office is in Bashorun, Ibadan, Oyo State, with branches in Osun State.
