Yapili

Yapili is an online health community that gives employees in Africa prompt access to qualified health advice. Through a web-based chat, workers connect within minutes with verified advisers, including physicians, nurses, midwives, mental health workers and counsellors, and receive follow-up. Each employee keeps a personal health profile and digital health history, and the service is available across eight African countries.

Yapili works directly with partners such as companies, NGOs and governments that sponsor access for their workforces, and is open exclusively to African employers. Founded in Gaborone in 2016, Yapili won the Seedstars World Gaborone competition in 2017.
