About TrustCheck

TrustCheck is a free review and trust platform for Ghana. Shoppers can look up a business, MoMo number, social media seller or website, read moderated customer reviews and see a trust score out of 100 before sending money. Businesses can claim their pages for free, reply to reviews and apply for verification. The platform also runs a Scam Watch for reported phone numbers, MoMo numbers, handles and websites, and a public trust-score API. Launched in January 2026 by Elliot Brenya and based in Tema, Ghana (company contact page). Bootstrapped as of October 2026, with first paying business customers (Disrupt Africa, 30 October 2026).
