About Tahaqaq
Tahaqaq (تحقق) is a Libyan digital verification and OSINT platform focused on detecting and analysing online financial fraud. Users paste a suspicious link, page or text, and the system automatically analyses the source, language and institutional identity before returning an indicative verdict: trusted, suspicious or confirmed fraud.
The platform also maintains a database of the 23 banks licensed by the Central Bank of Libya, with their official websites and verified Facebook pages, so users can spot fake bank pages and fraudulent financial ads. It publishes a fraud-protection guide, news and reports, and lets users report scams. Tahaqaq describes itself as Libya's first platform of its kind.
