About Omaad

Omaad is a Dakar-based fintech whose name means "royalty". Its app lets users track their wealth, savings and debts in one place, aimed at people whose assets span two continents: property at home, a bank account in Europe, a family tontine, mobile money and shares on the BRVM regional stock exchange.

The company argues that Western personal finance apps cannot see this full picture, so Omaad is designed for African and diaspora users. It also supports goals such as FIRE (financial independence, retire early), helping users plan savings toward long-term targets.
