About Nyamula Logistics

Nyamula Logistics Solutions runs a digital freight platform for road haulage in Southern and Eastern Africa. Cargo owners post loads and receive quotes, truck operators search for available freight to fill spare capacity, and the platform coordinates documentation, tracking and payment between the two sides. Transporters are vetted before joining the network, and the company says it is adding AI-based matching and blockchain records for shipment data.

The business started as a conventional brokerage. Co-founder and CEO Stephen Muraga began by driving goods between Zimbabwe and Zambia for small retailers, moved into cement and then grain transport, and launched the Nyamula platform to formalise the network of small truck owners he worked with. Operations began in September 2019; the company reported moving more than 7,000 tonnes of goods in its first year.

Nyamula publicly launched its load board for the SADC region in July 2026. In October 2026 it was selected among 22 ventures for Seedstars' SANAD ElevateHer programme, pitching at Techne Summit Alexandria. The company has been profiled by the EU-funded DIGILOGIC network as a Southern African logistics innovator.
