About MIRRIAH
MIRRIAH (MIRRIAH SARL) is a Moroccan agritech company co-founded in 2020 by Nidal Tafah (CEO) and Said El Hafidi (CTO). It designs and deploys off-grid solar pumping and drip-irrigation systems for smallholder farmers in rural Morocco, replacing fuel-powered pumps, with products such as the All-In-One Mini compact solar pumping kit and the Off-Grid Drip system, a Pay-As-You-Grow payment model, and local maintenance. It trains and employs rural women and young people as technicians and sales agents through a network of more than 200 rural ambassadors (company-reported), and also provides technical studies, feasibility studies, subsidy files and agronomic advice. The company's registered seat is in Larache. MIRRIAH won second prize in the Middle East and North Africa category of the Cartier Women's Initiative 2026 and was one of three cash-prize winners of the SANAD ElevateHer accelerator in October 2026.
