About Likita Care

Likita Care is a medtech startup from Niger that designs and locally manufactures an integrated medical monitoring platform for hospitals and clinics. Its kit combines a patient monitor, cardiograph, cardiotocograph and temporal thermometer with clinical software for telemedicine, digital care protocols and centralised monitoring of multiple patients, plus an embedded AI module that interprets vital signs. Devices are produced in Niger using 3D printing, CNC cutting and electronics assembly, and are offered through direct kit sales or a subscription service that includes maintenance. The company reports more than 70 connected monitors deployed in Niamey hospitals. Likita Care was selected as a finalist for the 2026 Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation.
