About dryve
dryve is a peer-to-peer car sharing company - a disruptive and exciting phenomenon that is doing for cars what Airbnb did for your home or spare room. Already huge in the US and growing fast in Europe, we are now bringing this to the Middle East with our first launch in Egypt! dryve is a safe, easy to use and ultimately reliable way for users to share their cars with one another. Through our straightforward and reliable app we allow ‘car owners’ to earn extra income from their idle cars, while enabling ‘dryvers’ access to countless vehicles at the palm of their hand, at rates below those of traditional car rental companies. As for all successful start-ups, a strong ecosystem is essential, dryve has done this by developing robust strategic partnerships with AXA and UBER. Through our special partnership with AXA, dryve has introduced the first of its kind 'Pay As You Drive' (PAYD) insurance policy in the Middle East and the first ever digital claims process in Egypt! dryve has launched in Egypt in strategic partnership with Uber. This valuable and ever-growing mutually beneficial relationship allows dryve to tap into Uber's massive pool of demand, while in return filing the supply gap for Uber with an increased fleet of vehicles. dryve has had a successful launch in Egypt in 2018 and will be expanding throughout North Africa during 2020.
