BAC Students

BAC Students is an Algerian social learning platform for students preparing for the baccalaureate. Students post and share lessons and summaries, join subject study rooms, follow teachers' courses and live sessions, and revise with flashcards, a study planner, a grade calculator and a book library. The platform is available in Arabic, French and English on the web, Google Play and the App Store.

Teachers publish courses and earn income through the platform, and advertisers can target students by country, region and academic track, giving BAC Students three revenue sides: learners, teachers and advertising. The company reports more than 100,000 students, 55,000 posts, 8,000 study rooms and 2,000 teachers on its own site, and 130,000 users across Africa in competition filings. It is based in Sidi Bel Abbes, Algeria, and expands into new markets through a licensing model that creates local jobs.

BAC Students was founded by Abdelouahab Krim. In August 2026 Krim won the Anzisha Prize's Job Creation grand prize, worth $10,000, at the African Leadership Festival, after reporting a 900 percent rise in platform-linked jobs since June 2024 and more than 3,000 teachers earning through the app.
