Esther Karwera is an experienced entrepreneur and business development leader in the agricultural technology sector. She co-founded Akorion Company Limited in 2014, which later evolved into EzyAgric, an agtech platform that integrates ICT in agricultural value chains. As Co-founder and CCO of EzyAgric, she has been instrumental in connecting over 42,000 smallholder farmers to digital value chains, enabling direct sales to agribusinesses. She was recognized by the World Economic Forum in 2017 as one of Africa's Breakthrough Female Tech Entrepreneurs. Karwera also co-founded iFEM Uganda, a STEM and entrepreneurship program for girls. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Makerere University and has demonstrated leadership in business development, agricultural technology innovation, and youth empowerment.
