Wangaruro Mbira is a seasoned financial services executive and entrepreneur with over 17 years of leadership experience in Kenya’s banking and microfinance sector. He is the Managing Director and CEO of MyCredit Limited, a licensed digital credit provider offering loans and insurance services to over 20,000 customers across 53 branches. Under his leadership, MyCredit has grown its loan book to USD 35 million and secured multiple international debt raises to expand financial inclusion for MSMEs. Previously, he co-founded Rafiki Microfinance Bank and served as Head of Risk at Chase Bank Kenya. Wangaruro is also Chairman of AMFI-K and Destiny Shapers Foundation.
