Simeon studied biochemistry at the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo-State Nigeria. However, he was an early love of computers and technology, while studying Biochemistry at the University he found time to learn about Technology and computers. He left school and started a project he called BUMP (Back Up My Phone). It’s a complex backup system that has a server and mobile application and allows users to back up phone content. He later went on to start up a company called Do-My-Stuff and got the contract to design GTBank’s first mobile lifestyle application called MoVe. That was a major break that has led to his developing various solutions ranging from mobile to web portals. During the 2007 elections, Simeon designed the LetMyVoteCount mobile tracking site for the elections. He was contracted by the Ministry of Finance to design the YouWiN! web portal and marking software. He was also signed up by Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala to develop her World Bank presidency campaign website and online presence and, as usual, since then, has been developing software and rendering top-notch services to his highly valued clients. Simeon designed, founded and implemented SimplePay, arguably Nigeria’s first fin-tech payment gateway aside from the then established Interswitch, Valucard and Etranzact. He recently co-founded Connected analytics and created the lead product, ThankUCash. This is a platform that helps merchant and banks across Africa to Acquire, Retain and Reward loyal customers. He is committed to contributing to the entrepreneurial space in Nigeria, and indeed Africa, and he makes time available for mentoring the next generation of technopreneurs. He is married to a lovely entrepreneur and has two lovely daughters.
