Dr. Mahmoud Khattab is a pioneering entrepreneur and visionary leader who has shaped Egypt's retail landscape for over 25 years. As Founder, Chairman, and CEO of B.TECH since 1997, he transformed the consumer electronics and home appliances retail sector, growing the company to over 190 stores across 25 governorates with a workforce of 6,000+ employees. He holds a PhD in Marketing from University of Washington, an MBA from City University Seattle, and completed executive programs at Harvard and Columbia Business Schools. Beyond B.TECH, Dr. Khattab serves as Chairman of mylo, a fintech platform revolutionizing consumer finance in Egypt, and Chairman of the Qualifications Development Bank. He champions digital transformation, investing over 1 billion EGP in partnership with McKinsey & Company, and established B.TECH Academy to develop retail talent across Egypt.
