
Yussouf is a passionate and self-driven entrepreneur in Rwanda who helps businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals innovate to achieve business and personal growth. Yussouf believes that developing young people and businesses at the same pace is the key for Africa to achieve sustainable continental growth. In 2017, Yussouf together with his business partner Gabriel Ekman cofounded BAG, a digital support system for students in higher learning institutions to complement technical learning with market-relevant experience and virtual internships. BAG is combining AI and Gamification to revolutionize the future of career development, the platfrom enables an effective online system to develop, track and match the student capacity with the market need upon graduation, where he is currently working as the Chief Operations Officer. Yussouf has provided valuable business insights that have contributed to the growth of 50+ businesses from startups to non-profits and large corporates in Rwanda. Yussouf worked as a Work Readiness and Bridging Facilitator for Harambee Rwanda, a social enterprise with the mission to tackle the problem of youth unemployment in Africa through strategic partnerships, where he ran short interventions to equip young, passionate job-seekers with employable skills. Yussouf is a Business Developer and Training Facilitator at the African Management Institute in Rwanda, empowering African managers and entrepreneurs through practical and accessible learning and development tools. Yussouf is the co-owner and manager of the first escape room in Rwanda, "The Adventure Room" that has hosted over 150+ games and 600+ players in Kigali in less than 2 years. Yussouf is also a public speaker and enjoys speaking about a broad range of topics related to education, business development and youth employment in Africa.
