Wesley Kirinya is a pioneer in African game development and an accomplished software engineer with over 20 years of experience. Born in 1983 in Nairobi, Kenya, he founded his first gaming studio in 2005 and created The Adventures of Nyangi in 2007, regarded as the first video game built and released in sub-Saharan Africa. This achievement earned him Africa's Top ICT Youth Innovator award in 2008. He co-founded Leti Arts in 2009 with Eyram Tawia, developing the Africa's Legends franchise featuring African superheroes and folklore. He specializes in full-stack development, DevOps, infrastructure management, and system architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms. Currently founder of Kite Consulting, he continues to build scalable systems while contributing to Africa's technology ecosystem.
